MOSAE Milan Open Studio is an architectural and engineering studio open to all design and construction challenges, encroaching into the most extemporaneous art and entertainment.
An attitude to be problem solver that starts from knowing how to listen to the needs of the client, and from being able to propose and put into practice new and creative solutions, capturing the essence of the work that is being developed. An ability that is the result of over ten years of experience in the field and of successful collaborations between qualified and passionate professionals, as well as a network of partners that contribute to broadening the research field and enriching the portfolio of new ideas. MOSAE Milan Open Studio is born and grows in a multicultural and cosmopolitan place, refining a polymatic and investigative approach that over the years has consolidated through multidisciplinary experiences, designing and implementing projects at different scales.
Based in Milan, in the center of the Brera Design District, the MOSAE studio is located in a building built between 1865 and 1869, it is the first complex of social housing in Milan. The studio is inside the courtyard accessible from number 25 of via della Moscova. In 2015 the space was completely renovated by MOSAE for MOSAE: in respect of the original characters it was decided to return the proportions by re-functionalizing the large double-height volume where “OTTA” found its first possible variation. 32 square meters of net, soft, safe and usable which represents the intimate and accessible evolution of the large net that was designed for the Brazil Pavilion at EXPO2015.
